It was a big year of growth for privately held companies in Florida, with Central Florida putting 28 companies on the 2015 Florida Fast 100 list.
In order to qualify for the list, companies must be at least 51 percent privately held and headquartered within the state of Florida; cannot be a subsidiary of another company or have private equity partners with more than 51 percent ownership; and must have maintained steady growth between the years 2012 through 2014.
