Digital Advertising Specialist


Roar Media seeks a proactive, creative, and passionate Digital Advertising Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 2+ plus years in digital advertising, media buying, and optimization across e-commerce and online lead generation in travel and hospitality, specifically within the Cruising Industry.  He or she will be able to “hit the ground running” to oversee and manage the client’s digital advertising and e-commerce campaigns for key markets.

Activities and Deliverables:

  • Plan, execute, and manage the client’s paid digital advertising programs, including in-platform search engine marketing and paid social media programs
  • Conceptualize and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for campaign channels, messaging, targeting, budget allocation, consumer journey mapping, and user experiences
  • Executing digital marketing campaigns by gaining system access, configuring accounts, establishing tracking, defining ad groups and audience profiles, optimizing accounts, and using various tools and services to drive campaign performance and efficiency
  • Managing designated markets and acting as the market owner for client services
  • Establish meaningful metrics for paid advertising and social media campaigns to effectively measure program output and impact
  • Prepare and deliver digital marketing reports and benchmark audits for clients
  • Leverage campaign and website analytics, campaign conversion metrics, and other reporting platforms to provide key recommendations and guide effective decision-making
  • Maintain relationships and supervise the work product of paid media platforms and vendors, ensuring that client’s KPI’s are achieved
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between agency, client, and vendors
  • Oversee account administration duties, such as contributing to and managing activity reports and other campaign reports when needed
  • Assist in new business-development, including but not limited to recommending specific digital advertising strategies and tactics for the clients
  • Stay abreast of developments occurring in the digital advertising, sem, and social media spaces


  • Proven digital advertising and marketing strategy and implementation with proven “hands-on keyboard experience”
  • Demonstrated team leadership, mentorship, and management skills
  • Demonstrated client services and project management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, including writing, proofreading, grammar, and syntax (Spanish language is also a plus)
  • Client-service minded and ability to thrive in demanding environments requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity, attention to detail, commitment, flexibility, communication, and initiative
  • Experience using digital advertising systems and measurement and analytics tools

Roar Media offers contract work under the following conditions:


  • 12 PTO days – Paid Time Off (hours cover everything from planets vacations to sick days)

Argentine team work hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 18:30hs (Buenos Aires time)
  • Friday, 9:00 to 16:00hs  (Buenos Aires time)
  • 1-hour lunch included in above hours on a daily basis
  • Towards the end of the month, we might require longer hours that will be pre-planned for
  • For any larger, urgent project launch,  we might require longer hours that will be pre-planned for
