Graphic Designer

Roar Media seeks a proactive, creative and passionate Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will have 3+ plus years’ graphic design experience across various industries including travel and hospitality, real estate, professional services, consumer packaged goods and more. 

As a Graphic Designer, the candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning content that captivates audiences and drives our clients’ marketing initiatives. Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet our objectives. Activities and Deliverables:

  • Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job.
  • Interpreting the client’s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose.
  • Gathering information and data through research about the project, scope, industry.
  • Work with a work-brief agreed with the client and account manager, or adapt if direction is updated.
  • Conceptualize, design, and produce various marketing materials, including but not limited to: digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, website assets, print materials, and presentations.
  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients, account managers or other account stakeholders.
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
  • Coordinating with final output solutions providers such as printers and vendors, to ensure that the final product meets the project/client standards.
  • Producing final deliverables, optimized and packaged files for digital and print production.
  • Followed organized protocols for file and account structure as well as keeping a standard file set-up across projects.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, included but not limited to: Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AI developments and workflows.
  • Developing interactive and/or animated designs in advertisement, social media, youtube and more.
  • Working as part of a team with account managers, copywriters, designers, and other marketing specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other relevant design software.
  • Ability to learn new tools and software, leveraging new developing technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
  • Experience in web design and development.
  • Experience in HTML5 banners, creation and delivery.Experience in video production, editing for social media, TV, digital advertisement, etc. is a plus.
  • Additional design related or creative experience is a plus, make sure to let us know!

Hours:

Argentine Team Work Hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9 to 18:30 hrs (Bs. As. Time)
  • Friday 9 to 16 hs (Bs. As. Time)
  • 1 hour lunch included in above hours
