Roar Media has an exciting career growth position for a bright, high-energy, person passionate about Internet marketing and digital advertising and search engine marketing. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in paid search marketing (programmatic and paid social a plus). He or she will be able to “hit the ground running” and quickly perform assigned tasks in a high-quality manner and with a positive, professional attitude.

The position entails:

  • Support the agency’s paid digital media department and closely collaborate with its team members and staff
  • Plan, execute, and manage client’s paid digital advertising programs, including search engine marketing, programmatic display, retargeting and paid social media programs
  • Conceptualize and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for campaign channels, messaging, targeting, budget allocation, consumer journey mapping and user experiences
  • Configure Internet marketing campaigns by gaining system access, configuring accounts, establishing tracking, defining ad groups and audience profiles, optimizing accounts and using various tools and services to drive campaign performance and efficiency
  • Manage designated accounts and acting as an account lead for digital
  • Establish meaningful metrics for paid advertising and social media campaigns to effectively measure program output and impact
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to clients on email marketing, programmatic, search and social strategies and tactics
  • Prepare and deliver digital advertising reports and benchmark audits for clients
  • Leverage campaign and website analytics, campaign conversion metrics and other reporting platforms to make provide key recommendations and guide effective decision-making
  • Maintain relationships and supervise the work product of paid media platforms and vendors, ensuring that client’s KPIs are achieved
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between client, agency and vendor account teams
  • Oversee account administration duties, such as contributing to and managing activity reports and other campaign reports when needed
  • Assist in new business-development, including but not limited to recommending specific Internet advertising strategies and tactics for new clients, as well as attending and presenting at new business pitches
  • Conduct public speaking and attending networking events on behalf of the agency, as seen fit
  • Stay abreast of developments occurring in the Internet advertising, SEM and social media spaces

Success in this position will require:

  • Travel, real estate, CPG, professional services advertising experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong social marketing and digital advertising skills and acumen
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail required
  • Must enjoy and effectively build relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally

Qualifications:

  • Degree in advertising, marketing or digital-communications preferred (will also consider candidates with previous related work experience)
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in social media, digital advertising, and agency operations

Experience:

  • Digital Advertising: 4 years (Required)
  • Social Media: 4 years (Required)
  • Marketing agency: 3 years (Required)
