Sr. Digital Advertising Strategist

Roar Media has an exciting career position for a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced, Sr. Digital Advertising Strategist to lead the strategy, client relations and implementation for impactful digital advertising campaigns, including paid search, paid social and display advertising. The ideal candidate will have 4+ plus years’ experience managing and executing digital advertising programs, preferably within the consumer products, travel/leisure, technology, real estate, professional services, and financial services sectors. He or she will be able to become a valuable member of our media department and “hit the ground running” to manage multifaceted, performative advertising campaigns.

Activities and deliverables:

  • Plan, execute, and manage client’s paid digital advertising programs including search engine marketing, programmatic display, retargeting and paid social media programs
  • Supervise digital advertising team members and manage designated accounts by acting as the account lead for client services
  • Conceptualize and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for campaign channels, messaging, targeting, budget allocation, consumer journey mapping and user experiences
  • Configure and establish effective tracking and measurement using tags and pixels via state-of-the-art systems and complex relationships
  • Execute Internet marketing campaigns by gaining system access, configuring accounts, establishing tracking, defining ad groups and audience profiles, optimizing accounts and using various tools and services to drive campaign performance and efficiency
  • Establish meaningful metrics for paid advertising and social media campaigns to effectively measure program output and impact
  • Prepare and deliver internet marketing reports and benchmark audits for clients
  • Leverage campaign and website analytics, campaign conversion metrics and other reporting platforms to make provide key recommendations and guide effective decision-making
  • Maintain relationships and supervise the work product of paid media platforms and vendors, ensuring that client’s KPI’s are achieved
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between agency, client and vendor account teams
  • Oversee account administration duties, such as contributing to and managing activity reports and other campaign reports when needed
  • Assist in new business-development, including but not limited to recommending specific internet advertising strategies and tactics for new clients, as well as attending and presenting at new business pitches. In addition, conduct public speaking and attending networking events on behalf of the agency as seen fit
  • Stay abreast of developments occurring in the internet advertising, SEM and social media spaces

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated team leadership, mentorship and management skills
  • Demonstrated client services and project management skills
  • Proven experience with tag management and pixel configuration
  • Proven digital advertising and marketing strategy and implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including writing, proofreading, grammar and syntax (Spanish-language is also plus)
  • Client-service minded and ability to thrive in demanding environments requiring high degree of deadline-driven productivity, attention to detail, commitment, flexibility, communication and initiative
  • Experience using digital advertising systems and measurement and analytics tools
